E7024 Mild Carbon Steel Welding Electrode
APPLICATIONS:
Mainly used for welding carbon steel and low alloy structural steel, widely used in the manufacturing and maintenance of ships, rolling stock, boilers, bridges, pressure vessels and general steel structures.
FEATURES:
E7024 adopts rutile iron powder type coating, the deposition efficiency can reach 150%, which is a high-efficiency electrode. The arc is stable, spatter is small, slag removal is easy, and the weld seam is beautifully formed. It can be used for both AC and DC. When DC welding, it is recommended to use DC reverse connection (the welding rod is connected to the positive electrode). Mainly suitable for flat welding, flat fillet welding, and also suitable for ship-shaped welding.

ATTENTION:
1.Rust, oil, moisture and other impurities on the weldment should be removed before welding.
2. Usually, it’s no need to re-dry the electrode before welding. When it was affected with damp, should be redried 150-170℃ for 1 hour.
